Manga rec! It’s a yuri manga focused on two circus performers doing a trapeze act together.
I know anyone following Yuri-hime/lililicious releases will know about this one already, but it’s so cute and sweet.
It’s just so refreshing to have a yuri story that’s not school girls. It’s a sweet feel good romance (with a bit of nsfw at the end), but it’s six chapters long and a really good manga to put a smile on your face!

Here’s a handy website if you’re looking for lesbian films of a specific genre. Keep in mind some of these films are lower budgeted than others, but all in all a pretty good resource. It gives a star ratings, and it tells you what the L-factor is: (minor lesbian characters, major lesbian plot lines, gender defiance. I like this because you can know going in how much or little queer content to expect.) It’ll give you a short sentence about it, and a click through will give you possibly a concise description and/or a trailer.
Here’s another website is over here that is useful for looking at major film and television programs without indie and underground films. I don’t like this as well because the reviews tend to be a lot longer with possible spoilers throughout, but it has an excellent list of shows and movies to check out and if you see something that catches your attention you can look it up on IMDB maybe.
No problem! First recommend is always Strawberry Shake Sweet. The next two are always Hanjuku Joshi and Prism. Please read Flower Flower. I love it. Another good one is Octave. I also always recommend manga by Chi-ran because I love the art? Sometimes they have long finger nails though 8( Also Morinaga Milk manga is good. I’ve been running a yuri tumblr for oh god 8 months now and apparently I don’t know what yuri means hahahah. You guys just don’t know how hard this has me laughing.
Yeah there’s a lot of lesbian porn blogs. XD I tend to prefer erotic things. Full on porn not so much. And oh oh. Well in the case of good anime yuri, Utena will probably always be my favorite. For high school romances, you’d be looking at Sasameki Koto, Aoi hana, Strawberry Panic, Maria-sama ga miteru. I get really tired of the high school slice of life though so what I would really recommend for just fun antics and cute girls is To Aru Kagaku no Railgun. A lot of the anime that I watch tends to be lesbian undertoned as opposed to full on yuri— mostly because yuri tends to be either just porn or they are high school stories with mostly platonic relationships (relationships that in Japan people would probably assume they’d grow out of). Personally though, I’d still say Utena and Railgun, but they’re my favorite. For subtext animes I’m going to plead with you to watch Madoka, it’s fabulous. K-On is pretty cute with lots of subtext.
