I had a good queer feel today.

The lady that drives me home from elementary basically told me that having a boyfriend or girlfriend or no significant other is great and that as long as I had friends and met cool people I should have fun.

It was just off hand within a larger thing she was telling me, life advice, and it felt really good. I’m so closeted here and well, it was just really nice.

do you know how hard it is to be a teacher in the current economy? do you know what it’s like to frantically…

Yo idk where you went but literally only 2 teachers in my entire highschool career did what you described so
I agree with op here.

I dunno man. Point still stands. Every body complains about doing work, kids included. And I’m sure that most teachers don’t want to have to waste their time grading work that half the kids didn’t put any time or effort or energy into it, regurgitating the same information over and over. Grading papers is boring as shit but it also has to be done.

Teachers in the US especially don’t get paid nearly enough to deal with the amount of stress that they go through and the effort that most of them put into their jobs. I mean, if your teachers didn’t, that sucks for you wherever you went, but a lot of teachers actually do put a lot of work into their job.

Like, I’m only an assistant teacher and sometimes I’m worked to death.

Though I also work in Japan where teachers get to school at 6:30 and are there literally until 9 or 10 at night doing work. So perhaps my perspective is a bit different, but American teachers do a lot of work too. Several of my aunts teach and dedicate a fuck ton of their time into helping kids graduate and get paid jack for it.
