My only issue with the original post was the implication that two queer women can’t promote queer issues. Now if I’ve misinterpreted what was trying to be said, please, do feel free to discuss with this with me and clarify what you find bad about it. I’m not trying to be rude by disagreeing, and I wouldn’t have reblogged this in the first place if I didn’t think there wasn’t some important issues brought up in the original post.
Well, obviously I can’t speak for SMH, but the way I read the comment was essentially… “you’re not homosexual enough to be saying someone else isn’t homosexual enough”. If it has to be in those terms. I guess basically a hypocrisy issue? I don’t know if that is a good explanation or not but it’s probably the best I can do right now.
I’m going to put myself to bed like a good tumblrina.
Ahhh I can definitely understand the issue being one of hypocrisy. That makes much more sense in context to me too. Because, like I said, that was really my only issue. Thank you. X3 That statement seemed out of place to the rest of it but it makes more sense that way.
